This is probably one of Baby Girl’s most underrated music videos. Today’s #ThrowbackThursday jam is “4 Page Letter” by Aaliyah. Anytime our favorite R&B angel appeared in her iconic side-part and black leather “Shaft” coat, we knew it was about to go down! But I think my favorite part of “4 Page Letter” was when Aaliyah appeared out of thin fire (I would’ve said air, but that’s the wrong element) looking like a sexy silver Power Ranger. Raise your hand if you tried to duplicate that belly roll at the 1:48 mark, and it got you a smooth side-eye from your mother…(*slowly raises hand*). And is it just me or do they sell those exact fringe, lace-up shirts at Forever 21 right now?! Talk about being ahead of your time, Aaliyah!
