It’s become so infamous for it’s mood sucking ability it’s ruined the song for people. Even though Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” was a radio hit before her ad with ASPCA, it’s now synonymous with sad dogs in shelters. No you aren’t alone in thinking those ads are really sad and awful…turns out even SHE can’t watch them!
While sad, ASPCA says the ad has generated over $30 million in revenue for the cause since it began airing! Does it make you sad when you watch?
