Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will be the sequel to the original Harry Potter series and will debut on stage in London in 2016. Fans have been excited to see Harry and friends conquer new challenges in adult hood…until they saw the current cast. From left to right in the above picture…this is your new Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. Obviously these are big departures from the film and book characters that Rowling originally was so nit picky about when the actors were first selected.
Is it right for fans to be outraged? Or should we embrace that story characters can look however we want them to?
