In news weirder than the fact Zimbabwe has an “ugliest man” competition, there were legitimate riots after this years winner was announced. According to The Guardian attendee’s at the fourth annual “Mr. Ugly” contest were up in arms after it’s winner Mison Sere (pictured above) was “too handsome”. The biggest critic, 3 time champion William Masvinu, was particularly angry citing his “unnatural ugliness”…
“I am naturally ugly. He is not. He is ugly only when he opens his mouth,”
Although no one was injured, there was plenty of pushing and shoving and insults as the crowd became more and more unruly. Sere simply dismissed the group as “haters” and pocketed his $500. I think the dude looks plenty ugly, don’t you?
