Noblesville Police In “Free Speech” Battle With National Website CopBlock

Noblesville police department has had it’s hands full in the past month or so after gaining the ire of a police watchdog group called CopBlock. The website has been touring the United States in a pursuit to educate more people on their rights when it comes to police officers, and to promote police accountability.

The controversy stems from when members of the site went and wrote messages in the sidewalk using liquid chalk. According to the website, the members chalked some of the following messages into the pavement…

#Bluelivesmatter, CopBlock, Film The Police, Pigs Live Here, Question Authority, Just following orders is not an excuse for rape assault kidnapping…

In all 43 images were posted along the sidewalk leading up to and around the police station. The website then filmed the police response below…

The two men responsible for the event were arrested for “criminal mischief” and have been running several stories about the dept since. This has caused several individuals to spam messages against the police dept on their social media accounts prompting Noblesville PD to write this on their Facebook page.
