Today in Rock History – February 4th

Are you ready to learn some stuff? It’s February 4th, here’s what happened today in Rock History!

Starting with releases we have an amazing list including End of the Century from the Ramones in 1980, Innuendo by Queen in 1991, and Ixnay on the Hombre from The Offspring in ’97. It’s got that one song from Crazy Taxi on it.

Speaking of The Offspring, it’s also Noodles’ birthday today along with The Godfather of Shock Rock, Alice Cooper!

In 2003, Courtney Love was arrested at Heathrow Airport for reportedly “Endangering an aircraft.” Love screamed at the flight crew because her nurse was barred from entering the first class cabin area during a transatlantic flight to London.

Finishing off in 2017 as today was the final show on Black Sabbath’s farewell tour, The End. The concert took place in their hometown of Birmingham, England. Their two hour set of 15 songs was filmed and released as Black Sabbath: The End of the End. Sabbath finished their run by playing their first hit, Paranoid.
