Colts running back Jonathan Taylor finally joined his teammates at practice on Tuesday, though he didn’t participate.
Taylor was spotted in street clothes at the team’s joint practice with the Eagles.
It’s been a long, complicated saga for Taylor, who has missed most of training camp with an injury, is seeking a new contract, and was given permission to seek a trade this week.
Head coach Shane Steichen wouldn’t comment on Taylor’s status, telling reporters “my focus right now is on this football team, this joint practice and getting these guys ready to play for Thursday.”
