Drummer Chad Smith does a lot more than just play with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Smith is an accomplished songwriter in his own right – in fact, he’s even co-written songs for other artists.
That list includes “Ordinary Man” and “Patient No. 9” for Ozzy Osbourne, “Frenzy” by Iggy Pop, and several tracks on Eddie Vedder’s recent solo album Earthling.
Smith and the rest of RHCP are headlining Lollapalooza on Sunday night, and will tour the U.S. and South America this fall.
