WalletHub has once again found a way to rank the cities of the United States. This time, it’s by how great they each are for sports, but only football, basketball, hockey and soccer.
The website ranked cities by how favorable the conditions are in each one for football, basketball, baseball, hockey and soccer fans.
Indy came in the top 20, but with the Pacers, Fever, and Colts calling Indianapolis home, as well Indy Fuel and Eleven, you’d think the city would have been higher on the list.
Boston was named the best sports city overall, scoring high in team performance, franchise value and fan engagement and attendance. Indianapolis was 16th and coming in dead last at 392 was South Orange Village, NJ.
We did crack the top 10 when it comes to football, though. Thanks to the Colts, Indianapolis was the ninth best city for football fans.
