Have you ever eaten a Pop-Tart under the guise of getting in your daily fruit serving? Yeah, me neither. I thought we all knew that they were absolutely not healthy.
But, apparently not everyone received that memo. A woman in New York is suing Kellogg’s for false advertisement, according to Today. The lawsuit says that because strawberries make up less than 2% of the ingredients, Pop-Tarts should be more accurately labeled.
The current package is misleading to the tune of $5 million. The lawsuit claims the plaintiff would not have purchased the pastries if she knew they didn’t contain strawberries.
There’s no way this makes it to court, right?
