Well Carson Wentz’ first season with the Colts has not gotten off on the right foot. Sorry, I had to.
The quarterback injured his foot last week during training camp. At first the team said they would focus on rest and rehabilitation, but now it looks like Carson will indeed need surgery.
According to ESPN, the foot injury and treatment could put him out anywhere between five and 12 weeks.

There are four other possible quarterbacks on the roster, although only one, Brett Hundley, has even attempted a pass in the NFL.
