July 1 is going to be a big day in Marion County. Not only is it the start of a new month, but it will also mark the end of the majority of coronavirus restrictions in the county.
According to WTHR, Mayor Joe Hogsett made the announcement on Tuesday, July 29. Full capacity will return to restaurants, bars and sports venues. Also, residents who aren’t vaccinated won’t be required to wear a mask. Although, the mayor still encourages the behavior.
As of now, 48 percent of all eligible residents in Marion County are fully vaccinated.
