This is never the news you want to hear, but alas, it’s the news the world got yesterday. Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 fame announced on social media that he has cancer and has been undergoing chemo for the past three months.

Tom Delonge, former bassist for Blink, shared a tweet showing his support:

Travis Barker, current drummer, shared the following message with E! News:

“Mark is my brother and I love and support him. I will be with him every step of the way onstage and off and can’t wait for us to play together again soon.”
