It was the first of the Claddagh restaurants in Indianapolis, but the downtown location is now no longer in business.
The restaurant closed temporarily in March, according to their most recent Facebook post from 2020.
According to IBJ, the closure has moved from temporary to permanent. The restaurant opened in 2000 and there were, at one point, 17 locations across the Midwest.
There is nothing on Claddagh’s social media yet acknowledging the closure.
