People seem to be loving the Barstool Sports Fund because it’s raised over $22 million in about two weeks.
Small businesses were encouraged to send in an application explaining how they’ve been impacted by COVID with the possibility of receiving some help.
The Rathskeller submitted a 67-second entry telling how the restaurant was in trouble of closing for the first time in 25 years.

It didn’t take long for Barstool Sports to pick what they called “an institution in Indianapolis,” although apparently it took some time for them to reach someone with the restaurant. It all worked out though, and the downtown Indy business is receiving $50,000 to help make sure they make it through the pandemic.
Here’s the video of them getting the news (warning, there’s some foul language).
