This guy put some thought into his theft. He had himself a full plan. I mean, it didn’t actually WORK for him . . . but it’s still clever.
A 37-year-old guy named Bradley Young went into a Walmart in North Naples, Florida on Sunday and took about $1,000 worth of items to a self-checkout, including a scooter, a navigation system, and batteries.
But he hid a packet of Kool-Aid in his hand . . . so he pretended he was scanning his big items, but he was really scanning the barcode on the Kool-Aid packet over and over.
That made everything ring up as 24 CENTS . . . so Bradley’s total was under $25.
But a security guard spotted him and RECOGNIZED him from when he tried to shoplift some stuff from the same store back in August . . . so she called the cops.
And Bradley was arrested as he was leaving the store.
