I think Game Of Thrones will go down as 7 of the best television seasons ever. The 8th left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. The head writers went from heroes to idiots failry quickly. The last season was so filled with rushed writing, bad character arcs, and a ton of other let downs.
Remember the COFFEE CUP that showed up in one of the final episodes of “Game of Thrones”? Well, two of the show’s bosses will never forget it.
David Benioff says, quote, “I couldn’t believe it. When we got the email about it the next day, I honestly thought someone was pranking us . . . Then when I saw it on the TV I was like, ‘How did I not see that?'”
And Dan Weiss adds, quote, “I’d seen that shot one thousand times, and we’re always looking at their faces or how the shot sat with the shots on either side of it.
“I felt like we were the participants in a psychology experiment, like where you don’t see the gorillas running around in the background because you’re counting the basketballs.”
