We struggle with 2 teens about doing chores. They seem to take forever to finish laundy, empty the dishwasher, and clean their rooms. I have no idea how to get them to take more initiative towards their chores when I am not a fan of them myself.
I’m not sure there are any household chores I’d call “exciting.” But which one is the most boring?
A new survey asked 2,000 people to name the most mundane chore they could think of. Here are the Top 10 answers . . .
1. Ironing.
2. Cleaning the toilet.
3. Dusting.
4. Changing your sheets.
5. Washing the windows.
6. Cleaning out the fridge.
7. Cleaning the kitchen.
8. Doing the dishes.
9. Vacuuming.
10. Folding laundry.
The survey also found we do about an hour’s worth of boring chores a day, on average.
