Yesterday was National Comic Book Day. Once upon a time, young me wanted to draw comics for a living. Obviously, it didnt work out. I don’t read them much any more, but I do love the characters. Indy has some good comic book stores too. The first true American comic book, Famous Funnies, was released in 1934. Think about how many television shows and movies came out of their earliest form, comics.
The picture is the one piece of art that I actually had framed. I drew it close to 15 years ago. I guess Batman has always been my go to. Every now and again, I get bored and draw some stuff….
