You might want to rethink that trip to Paris when the pandemic is *over*. According to Tripadvisor, the Eiffel Tower is the most complained about tourist attraction in the world.
People complain that it’s dirty, that there are rats and that people will sneakily try to sell you things.
I don’t remember it being dirty or seeing any rats, in fact we had a nice picnic with wine and enjoyed the lights when we went. But people did keep handing me roses and tried to charge my boyfriend for them.
So, I’d say still go if it’s on your list but don’t take anything handed to you.
Other attractions that made the list were the Colosseum (I just looked at it from the outside and that was neat), the Hollywood sign (10/10 agree, very disappointing, just look at it from afar), Big Ben, the Pyramids of Giza and the Berlin Wall (which I thought was neat).
