Turns out it wasn’t just in your head after all…Apple really WAS slowing down your old iPhone.
According to CNN, users who purchased certain iPhone models before December 21, 2017 and had performance issues are eligible for a $25 payment for each device.
You can file a claim for each iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus and/or SE that you purchased. You will need the serial number for each device, or you can search for it. I wasn’t able to find mine, but I’ve had like eight addresses in the past six years.
