I love the 90s. I am a 90s kid, but this is just not smart….Go Ninja Go Ninja GO
Texas is a major COVID-19 hotspot . . . and most concerts have been canceled or forbidden by now. But there IS one still scheduled for tomorrow:
VANILLA ICE. Seriously.
And Ice says he’s not worried about the coronavirus, because he’s from the ’90s. (???) Quote, “I can’t wait to get back to this. The ’90s were the best. We didn’t have coronavirus, or cell phones, or computers.
“We had [Mustang] 5.0’s, Blockbuster, ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’, ‘Wayne’s World’, Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan . . .
“‘Mortal Kombat’ is still better than ‘Fortnite’ . . . but we got out of the house. We danced, we invented house parties in the ’90s. The last of the great decades.”
So Ice is apparently trying to make America great again by proceeding with his performance, which IS legal because the venue counts as a restaurant. And the place has a capacity of 2,500. Tickets range from $25 up to $300.
Although, if you go and catch a bad case of COVID, it’ll be even more costly.
(By the way, we ARE about to have “Beavis and Butt-Head” back again.)
