South Park has been on the air now for 22 damn years. And it’s going to be on for at least another three.
The show just got picked up for another three seasons and will air on Comedy Central through 2022 according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Season 23 will premiere on September 25.
Show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said, “Apparently, our efforts to get our own show canceled have fallen short.” There has been a recent campaign to cancel the show, which isn’t the first time.
But, so far there’s no end in sight and it will surpass the 300 episode mark this upcoming season.
