Huge news coming out this Wednesday morning as Black Sabbath are coming together again for one more show. This isn’t like the band’s The End tour back in 2016-17 where only three of the original members came back. All four members, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward are back together again to finally say goodbye properly. According to the announcement, this will also be Ozzy’s final performance ever.
The show, titled Back to the Beginning, will take place on Saturday, July 5th at Villa Park in the band’s hometown of Birmingham, England. This last hurrah from metal’s original group will have all profits donated to charities like Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Back to the Beginning will feature not only separate performances from Sabbath and Ozzy, but an INSANE list of guest performers as well. Featuring the likes of metal greats like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains, and Anthrax. The show will also feature performances from other artists that were inspired by the music of Sabbath and Ozzy, like Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, David Draiman of Disturbed, Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Sammy Hagar, Wolfgang Van Halen and many, MANY more!
Tickets go on sale February 14th at 10am UK time, the perfect Valentine’s gift for your loveable metalhead!
