Starting off with Releases today. We have Van Halen’s A Different Kind of Truth and Iggy Pop and The Stooges’ Raw Power!

With birthdays, we’ve got David Bryan of Bon Jovi, Danny Goffey of Supergrass, Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit and Sully Erna of Godsmack!

In 1980, Pink Floyd premiered their live version of The Wall in L.A.

In 1994, Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon was forced to leave the American Music Awards for being loud and disruptive. He was later charged with battery, assault, resisting arrest and destroying a police station phone.

And finally in 2004, Queen’s We Will Rock You topped a poll to find the greatest rock anthems of all time. The song it just beat out for first, Bohemian Rhapsody.
