Andrew Luck is embracing an old meme.
After the 49ers routed the Giants 30-12 on “Thursday Night Football,” the former Colts quarterback appeared on the postgame show in full Union Army Civil War uniform.
X account @CaptAndrewLuck became popular during his playing career and featured a black and white avatar with Luck in uniform.
The account penned fake letters, usually to his mother, as if Luck was actually living in the 19th century.
Clarissa Thompson introduced Luck saying, “This is where the kids say, if you know, you know. Andrew, how have you been?”
Luck replied, “Great, the war is over. We have greener pastures in California. Life is good.”
