Trucks hauling gear for Metallica’s M72 World Tour were involved in a major accident yesterday in upstate New York.
Reports indicate the accident happened on I-87, just north of Lake George, New York as the trucks were en route from East Rutherford, New Jersey to Montreal, where the band is performing this weekend.
No injuries were reported but it’s unclear how much damage the equipment sustained.
The accident won’t affect the performances as spotlights were rented and organizers say everything is up and ready for the shows.
Have you ever lost anything important in a car crash – besides the car? Thanks, Killabrew
