The Colts’ Isaiah Rodgers Sr. says he takes “full responsibility” for a reported violation of the NFL’s gambling policy.
He released a statement Monday night after reports surfaced that the NFL was investigating a Colts player.
Rodgers did not give any specifics, but said he had “made mistakes” and was “willing to do whatever it takes to repair the situation.”
Rodgers plays cornerback and serves as the team’s primary kick returner.
The NFL has not yet announced any discipline for Rodgers. The Colts did not comment other than to say they were aware of the investigation.
How important is it for the league to put a stop to these gambling violations? Is the NFL partly at fault for promoting gambling apps? Thanks, Killabrew.
