In 1989, Kurt Cobain smashed a guitar. In 2022, that guitar sold at auction for $486,400.
It was part of the “Icons and Idols: Rock ‘N’ Roll” auction hosted by Julien’s Auctions, where they expected the guitar to go for $200,000, not almost half a million.
