Just in time for National Donut Day on Friday, June 3, Yelp! has put together a list of the top rated donut shops in America. There is one Indiana business on the list, and it is probably not the first one you think of.
My mind immediately went to Long’s Bakery, as it is an Indy institution. Then to Rise’n Roll since they just dominated America’s Greatest Doughnut list. However, number 19 on Yelp!’s list wasn’t either of those.
The honor belongs to PANA Donuts, Coffee and Boba Tea, which has three locations in the Indianapolis area. They have a variety of donuts, including both yeast and cake, as well as boba tea. The tapioca pearls in boba make me nervous, but I’m still down to try it.
