Two weeks ago, Slipknot teased something on Twitter called Knotverse, saying it was “probably nothing.” Of course, no one actually believed it was nothing, and those suspicions were confirmed this week.
The band revealed that they teamed up with Sandbox to create their own metaverse—Knotverse. Per a tweet on April 19, Knotverse will be a “one-of-a-kind meeting place for heavy music culture in the #Metaverse!”
Another tweet says fans will have access to music, events, merch and more via Knotverse. Oh, and NFTs, there will be NFTs. Would it really be a metaverse if there were no NFTs?
