It ain’t summer in Indiana without the state fair. And thanks to this morning’s announcement, we now know the date and theme for this year’s event.
According to RTV6, the 165th season’s theme will be “Fun at the Speed of Summer.” It will celebrate the history of “automotive excellence” in the Hoosier state. Expect to see iconic cars, celebrity’s cars, cars from movies and television, as well as classic collections.
The dates for the 2022 season are Friday, July 29 through Sunday, August 21. Once again, the fairgrounds will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
