It’s kind of hard to believe that Red Hot Chili Peppers don’t already have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but it’s true. At least it’s true for the next week.

But, come March 31 at 2 PM EST, the band will have the 2,717 star.

Fittingly, their star will be located near Amoeba Records on Hollywood Blvd. Not so fittingly, it will be next to Pat Sajack and Jack Parr, according to Loudwire.

To get a star on the Walk of Fame, the artist has to have been in said field of entertainment for at least five years and have made charitable contributions.

Anyone can nominate a recipient, as long as the nominee or their representation agrees to it. Someone then has to pay a $50,000 fee, at least that’s what Wikipedia says.
