Where was this promotion last week when I flew to and from Hawaii? Maker’s Mark wants you to celebrate the holidays with your friends and family, so they’ve introduced a program called Whisky Flights (10/10 for the name selection).
Through December 31, if you’re 21 or older, you can submit your baggage receipt to the bourbon company and they might reimburse you. Their goal is for people to take a bottle of alcohol with them, which would have to be checked. But, they’ll never know from the receipt if you brought one along for the holidays.
If you are chosen, you’ll receive a gift card for the cost of the bag, up to $40.
Maker’s Mark will cover $50,000 worth of checked luggage, so if each bag is $40, that would come out to 1,250 people.
