Indianapolis Public School has backtracked their mask policy for the upcoming school year. After initially saying that only unvaccinated students would need to wear masks when indoors, IPS has decided that the policy will be required of all students and staff per WTHR.
Masks are also required for everyone on school buses.
IPS is the first school district in Marion County to require masks in indoor public spaces for vaccinated people.
There is currently no date in place for the requirement to end.
