Downtown Indianapolis has launched the Fourth of July fireworks from the Regions Bank building for over 50 years. But, there will be a change in 2021.
Because of a new residential development, the old location no longer works according to WTHR.
Also new this year, Downtown Indy, Inc. will take over the event. They are currently seeking out a new launch site.
However, once they find one, they most likely won’t put on a large scale event. Instead, they’ll encourage residents to find their own, smaller sites to watch from.
