Drinking and golf. That is what Florida does…..well this part of Florida anyway.
If you’ve never heard of The Villages retirement community in Florida, I don’t need to explain anything about it to you beyond THIS story. Because this sums up the entire place perfectly.
On Friday night, a couple in the Villages were surprised when a company called Fuzzy Vodka rolled up to their driveway party in a tricked out golf cart. Rick Skutak and his 59-year-old wife Danette won the cart over 11,000 other people in a contest.
They were thrilled and their neighbors clapped and cheered.
But then, just a few hours later, Danette was arrested . . . after she FLIPPED the golf cart while she was driving it around. One of the people in the cart with her was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Danette was charged with a DUI. (Villages News)
