In the last episode, Baby Yoda was given the nam,”Grogu,” by fan favorite character Ohsoka Tano. She said that he had been taken and hidden by another, as of now, unkonown Jedi. She also told Mando to take him to a temple and he can call out to any surviving Jedi and one might come get him.
This is where the speculation begins. This is 5 years after Return Of The Jedi and the only Jedi out there is Luke Skywalker. Without getting into a lot of fan boy stuff, he could be the one to answer the call. Mark Hamil is a bit too old to play that version of Luke without spending a lot of money to de-age him. There is another option ….

If Luke does answer the call, he does look enough look like Mark to play the part.
