If you said that a giant asteroid was going to crash into Monument Circle tonight, it wouldn’t shock me this year. There are some that believe things aren’t getting better.
An online poll asked 45,000 Americans . . . and close to 1 in 10 people think 2021 might be even WORSE.
1. 48% of people expect next year to be better . . . 28% said about the same . . . 9% said worse . . . and 15% didn’t even want to guess. (Yeah, don’t jinx it!)
2. Most people said 2020 was at least an “okay” year for them personally. Only 5% said “great.” But another 12% said “good” . . . 38% said “okay” . . . 22% called it a “bad” year . . . and 21% said “terrible.”
3. Men were more than twice as likely to say they had a “great” year. Maybe because moms took on more of the homeschooling duties.
4. How much did you accomplish this year? 37% said less than they expected to. But 1 in 5 Americans actually got more done in 2020 than they thought they would.
