A popular farm-to-table restaurant in Westfield announced on Sunday that they would permanently close their doors at the end of the month.
Rail has been offering breakfast and lunch in their barn for the past six years. Unfortunately, like many other businesses, Covid-19 hit the restaurant hard.
The restaurant relies on warmer months to cover the colder seasons and this year those months were impacted by the shutdown and limited capacity according to their most recent Instagram post.
November 1 will be their last day in business. The owners will continue to operate the ice cream shop next door, Cone + Crumb.
