Back in 2017, there was a large data breach at Equifax where 147 million people had their personal information compromised. According to WTHR, 3.9 million of those people were in Indiana.
While many states chose to participate in a larger settlement, Indiana filed a separate settlement. Hoosiers who were impacted by the 2017 data breach are now able to file for part of the $19.5 million settlement.
