There is an idiot born everyday. It amazes me how little thought criminals actually put into their crimes. I don’t encourage theft, but like anything else, it requires a fair amount of planning. Cleary not much planning went into this one.
A 27-year-old guy named Herbert McClellan went to a Speedway gas station in Clearwater, Florida around 2:00 A.M. last Tuesday . . . and when the clerk was distracted, he reached over the counter and stole $102 worth of lottery scratchers.
Then he came back to the store a few hours later to cash in the $30 prize he’d won on one of them.
The employees immediately recognized him as the guy who’d stolen the lottery tickets and called the cops.
