It’s been about four-and-a-half months since we started being affected by the virus in the U.S. And there’s a discussion on Reddit that asked: If coronavirus never happened, what would you have done in the past four months?
I know we had plans for big station concerts. i was going to go see my parents in Arizona. People were also planning to do far more important things that got put on hold or cancelled.
Here are some of the answers that really hit home . . .
1. “I would’ve spent my six months exploring Mexico during my gap year actually exploring Mexico, rather than every corner of my apartment in Mexico.”
2. “My wife and I are opera singers and this was our big breakout year [with] a good number of contracts that would take us to the next level. All our contracts were canceled since most companies have closed. We’ve shifted careers at this point.”
3. “I would’ve had to work only 40 hours a week instead of the 70 that I have. Clients assume that since people are at home and under the fear of losing their jobs, we can overwork them to insanity.”
4. “I would’ve gotten married today.”
5. “Honestly, about the same thing.”
