Grocery

If you’re thinking about pulling out the ground beef for Taco Tuesday, you’ll want to double check that meat. Especially if you recently purchased it from Meijer or Martin’s.

2,000 pounds of beef have been recalled due to possible contamination of plastic according to Indy Star.

The recalled packages are one pound labeled with “Pre 95% LEAN/5% FAT GROUND BEEF” with lot code 0060. They best by date is January 31, 2020.

Customers are encouraged to throw said meat away or bring it back to the store of purchase.
