This work week ends on a sad note. Neil Peart of Rush has passed away at the age of 67.
According to Pitchfork, Peart actually died on January 7 in Santa Monica, California. He had been battling cancer for the past few years.
Rush was inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and two years later Peart announced he was retiring.
