SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t see Avengers: Endgame, Scarlett Johansson’s character Black Widow AKA Natasha Romanoff dies. So, the new “Black Widow” movie takes place in the past.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film occurs sometime after Captain America: Civil War (possibly the best movie in the MCU).
Nat travels back home to her family to face the past she’s been running from. You might remember, she’s got red in her ledger and she’s looking to clear it.
They introduce Taskmaster as the villain, but don’t reveal who it is.
Rachel Weisz and David Harbour also star in the film. It’s set to release on May 1. I’ll probably see it, but if I’m being honest, it doesn’t look super great.
