Fred Durst has another directing credit under his name. The Fanatic, starring John Travolta came out last week and if you didn’t know about it, you’re not alone.
The film was released in 52 theaters and only brought in about $3,000 according to NME. If you’re keeping track, this is the fourth movie in a row of Travolta’s that has bombed at the box office.
Apparently the film was inspired by a stalker Fred once had. Durst has also directed The Education of Charlie Banks and The Longshots.
if nothing else, Travolta said this was his favorite experiences and called Fred Durst an “artist” and “generous.”
So hey, that’s something! Although it’s got a 17% on Rotten Tomatoes.
