We know Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos won the Superbowl last night…but Beyonce also won the Superbowl. Obviously. She performed alongside headline, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars. While she was slaying her dance routine, she almost fell but totally made it a part of the 8-count, because she’s the queen! Duh! Then immediately following the performance, she announced her “Formation World Tour.” Um…I’m GOING!
The Superbowl’s star power wasn’t limited to the NFL. The NBA showed up and shined, too! Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors and his wife Ayesha were there to support their hometown Carolina Panthers. But this was so odd and amazing – Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder worked on the sidelines as a credentialed photographer for the Players Tribune. Who knew you were so artistic, KD? (*cues “Love Jones*)
Speaking of star power, Taraji P. Henson was there to enjoy the game, and I think my girl had too many beers. She tweeted about how excited she was to see Maroon 5 perform the halftime show…except Maroon 5 DID NOT PERFORM! It was Coldplay! What in the world! Cookie, go home!
