Happy first day of Black History Month! As a former HBCU student (hey Clark Atlanta University!), I found this little known Black History fact interesting:

HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) are actually historically diverse. In the 1930s, during to the rise of Hitler, Jewish professors were dismissed from their jobs in Germany and Austria. After having difficulty finding work, many took teaching positions at HBCUs. Who knew?
