The hot Christmas toy that you can’t afford is making the news for all the wrong reasons. Fox 59 reports that a family has now lost their home thanks to a hoverboard that exploded in their residence. The “Fit Turbo” was charging when Louisiana resident Jessica Horne says the board “exploded like fireworks”. The house was covered in flames within minutes. While there have been reports of injuries due to people falling off, this is the first fire reported for the new toy. Was it a bad brand, freak accident, or maybe something else.
